A Chilled Evening at the Pub
On the first Friday of each month we catch-up on life, hang out and be together for a chilled evening at The Ship in Badcox, Frome.
We will have a table reserved under ‘The Place’ near the bar area.
The Place Visits Frome Baptist Church
We are out and about this summer, and on Sunday 9th, we will be visiting Frome Baptist Church, for their 10:30am service.
10:30am for refreshments and 11am for their church service.
The Place Visits St. John's Church
We are out and about this summer, and on Sunday 16th August, we will be visiting St. John’s Church in Frome, for their 10am Sunday Choral Eucharist.
The Place Visits Wesley Methodist Church, Frome
We are out and about this summer, and on the 23rd August, we will be meeting at Wesley Methodist Church, for their 10:30am service.

Join us for our shiny new series on minor prophets, as well as our usual worship, prayer and communion.
The Place as a Charity Discussion
On 12th July, we will be talking about The Place's transition to a charity. We'd love to share this journey with our wonderful community, hear your thoughts, update you on our progress so far, and tell you about the next steps.

Worship Morning
On the 28th, we will be having a whole worship morning at The Place, bringing us together in praise and fellowship. There will be heartfelt worship songs and prayer, deepening our faith and trust in God.
Spiritual Practices: Anointing with Oil
James will be continuing our topic on Spiritual Practices, talking about anointing with oil. Fay will be organising the kids’ activities.
Picnic and Paddleboarding Riverside Hangout
Join us for our annual picnic and paddleboarding riverside hangout along the beautiful Langport river.
Bring a picnic for yourself or your family, and meet us on the grass at the far end of the car park (Bow Street Car Park, Bow Street, Langport, TA10 9PH). If you’d like to go paddleboarding, please bring your own board or borrow one from the group. Life jackets are required, and all children must be supervised by the adult(s) they are attending with.

Spiritual Practices: Solitude
Fay will be continuing our topic on Spiritual Practices, talking about solitude. Luke will be organising the kids’ activities.

A Fun Afternoon of Frisbee Golf

We thought we would give frisbee golf a go!
Frisbee golf is played in a similar way to traditional golf but using flying discs instead of clubs and balls. There is a 18 hole course at the Mendip Activity Centre which is within the Mendip Hills National Landscape, and the course winds through rolling hilltops and woodland tracks, offering beautiful views and a relaxed outdoor adventure. The self-led course is approximately 2km long and can be enjoyed at your own pace.
We will go as a group, lift sharing for those that need to it, meeting in the car park.
Please let the team know if you are interested in booking. We will block book as a group, offering a slight discount, although you can add to our booking on the day. Prices are £8 for an adult and £6 per a child (6-16, under 6 are free). Please let the team know if you would like help with the cost.

Join us for a stroll in the woods at Alfred’s Tower, Somerset.
We will meet by the coffee van opposite the car park at 2pm.
